Windows 10: Asus X541UA with no Product Key stored inside & recovery partition is gone, how do I get a...

Hi folks.Thanks for taking the time to assist me, my X541UA was recently updated with the wrong bios, due to the company website's downloads column being improperly displayed I ended up with all the wrong drivers and unfortunately the BIOS ones too, I got the Asus X541UAK BIOS update instead of the X541UA, it made a difference.Most, like 90% of the BIOS settings are now grayed out and unusable, the F9 reset included.But, the system still works, had to wipe the hard drive due to a secondary and unrelated issue and now I'm sitting at the "Windows Setup / Enter The Product Key To Activate Windows

How To: Create recovery partition.

it worked when i copied all the files of the disk to the recovery partition i created, but i had to use WinPE tab to add the entry.

Type: WIM Image (Ramdisk)
Name: Recovery
Path: Z:\Sources\boot.wim
and hit Add Entry
I tried it in VirtualBox and it worked.
At first, it would add a second "Windows 7" entry to the list, but when the installation is finished, the old one is deleted. (I formatted only C: partition)

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

Hello, I see that you are having issues with recovery partition. I would suggest you using the diskpart command in the command prompt. First, open up the comand prompt as an administrator, then type in diskpart. Now, type in list disk, and look for the
