Windows 10: Asus Zenbook device locked out of Microsoft account and deleted, can't login now.

Lately, my Microsoft account has some weird activity. My Minecraft account is linked to this Microsoft account and I just got hacked in Minecraft. So, I tried to lock and delete the devices logged into this Microsoft account. Then I locked out and deleted my laptop deviceAsus Zenbook which resulted in not even having access to the computerPin password not the same, couldn't login the laptop. I'm trying to register this laptop again, but after giving the Microsoft system the serial pin to the Asus Zenbook, the system couldn't recognize the serial pin. What should I do?

Unlock an ASUS Zenbook 14X

If you've forgotten your PIN for your ASUS Zenbook 14X and face recognition is not working, here are some of my suggestions you can try to see if they can help you avoid resetting your system:



1. Recovery Options: If you previously set up a Microsoft account to sign in to your ASUS Zenbook, you may be able to reset your PIN online. visit the Microsoft account password reset page on your other device, enter your email address, and follow the instructions to reset your PIN.



2. Safe Mode: You can try booting your ASUS Zenbook into Safe Mode. To do so, turn off your computer and then turn it back on. After booting, hold down the "Shift" key while clicking "Restart" in the power options menu. This will direct you to "Advanced Boot Options". From there, select "Troubleshooting" > "Advanced Options" > "Startup Settings" and click "Restart". Once the computer has restarted, select "Safe Mode with Networking". Once you are in "Safe Mode", you will be able to log in with your regular password instead of a PIN.



3. In addition you can follow the steps explained in this discussion to create a new local account on your computer, without connecting it to a Microsoft account or using a password. This process doesn't need an internet connection:

Just remember to put utilman.exe back where it belongs after.

Sorry to say that, I've already followed the steps you suggested me and it didn't work.

When I select the administrator account and click the login button, the pc itself reselects the local user account and you know, any local user cannot be logged in on this stage. Now, I'm getting stuck!

Also, I'm thinking to delete my current windows 10 and set up a new windows 10.

Please, tell me, has the microsoft account lock encrypted my other drives on my pc?

 

Deleting Microsoft account

We understand your concern. However, the prompt might be because as you have mentioned that you have not logged in to the account for long period and we would need some information regarding the issue.

1. Could you please let us know where exactly you are getting the error message?
   
2. Are you using Microsoft or local account to login to Windows?
   
3. If Microsoft account, may I know which Microsoft account are you using to login to Windows
   

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to unlink your Microsoft business account from Gmail Microsoft account (If Microsoft Business account is linked to Gmail account).

1. Log on to primary
   Microsoft account (Gmail).
   
2. Go to Your Info > Contact Info.
   
3. Click on Manage email address.
   
4. Then try removing secondary account.
