    Hello, I've soldered an Asus Zenbook UX-501UW with 8GB RAM on the motherboard and an additional 8GB RAM bar. (Laptop can use up to 16GB RAM, I ordered it the original way) Now I noticed some time ago that the laptop under Windows only shows 8GB RAM, although the 2nd bar is correctly inside. I have now removed the bar for testing, the laptop still runs with 8GB (so the RAM on the mainboard is ok). So I just ordered a new 8GB bar, inserted it and it still shows 8GB under windows. (I already checked msconfig under Maximum RAM)

    Anybody got any ideas? CPU-Z recognizes the second RAM, but Windows does not.
