Windows 10: Asus Zenbook UX535 Audio not working after Windows 11 update

Here's the steps you can try.

-Go to Device Manager

-Expand the Sound and Video Game Controllers

-Look for Audio driver that was installed

-Right click and Update

-Look for "Browse my computer for driver

-Let me pick drivers available drivers

-Choose an old driver and use it.

-Go to Control Panel

-In Control Panel, select Large icons from the View by drop down menu.

-Select Sound.

-Select the Playback tab

-Right click the Speakers and click Enable.

-Right-click it again and select Set as Default Device.

-Right click Speakers and click Properties.

-Click the Levels tab, then drag the volume slider towards the largest value.

-Click on Advance Tab

-Uncheck the box to "Allow Application to take exclusive controls on this device"

-Click OK.

Restart your computer and test the audio.

If issue persists, proceed with these steps.

-Go to Device Manager

-Expand the Sound and Video Game Controllers

-Look for Audio driver that was installed

-Right click and Uninstall

Once uninstalled go to this link and download and install the drivers.

Once the drivers are downloaded and installed restart and check the audio.

Asus Zenbook UX535 Audio not working after Windows 11 update

Hi there

My computer recently performed a Windows 11 update, after which its audio no longer worked. I had this problem when I updated the computer about a month prior, but I rolled back to the previous version which fixed the issue.

Not able to roll back to the previous version now, I have tried to fix it in other ways, none of which have worked. I began by troubleshooting the output audio, which provided the error "Audio services not responding". I then restarted and made sure that both the services "Windows Audio" and "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder" were running. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall my audio drivers, none of which worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is an extremely frustrating issue to experience after an update.

Asus Zenbook UX305 touchpad multitouch functions stopped working. I suspect windows update cause problem. Any suggestions to solve. Asus helpdesk ask me to reinstall windows. But I cannot as lot of data is in the PC. Appriciate help if some one can suggest
to resolve.
