    At my wit’s end trying to fix Win10 crashing.


    I have this issue with my 6 month old PC crashing. It will do it while gaming, browsing, sitting idle, or even while in sleep.

    I want to do a Start Up Repair, but Windows does not recognize my password (and I have verified it by logging on to MS), so that’s one problem.

    I have tried a dozen times and about 20 fixes from the web, including (but not limited to) disabling programs, disabling services, editing registries, sfc scans, and and on and on.

    Why, at the very least, is Windows not recognizing my password when trying to do the Start Up Repair, and if Windows will not let me do a repair of of a USB ISO to keep my files and apps, should I just nuke the drive and perform a complete reinstall?

    W1zzard is asking you to test so that he can suggest next steps and be able to troubleshoot the issue you have.
    If another version works, it would be one set of steps.
    If several other versions also fail/crash, then it would be another.

    I suggest you to try the below methods and check if this helps.

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to try updating the Display Adapter drivers check if it works for you.

    Follow the steps to update the Display driver:

    • Press Windows Key + X key and click
      Device Manager.
    • Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
    • Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.

    • In search type Windows Updates
    • Click on Windows Updates

    I suggest setting the DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 (Cloudflare)
