  1. At start up - asking for PIN not password

At startup I'm informed there's something wrong with my PIN instead of asking for Password. If I go the reset PIN route and log into my Microsoft Acct. It states a code was sent to my email but sometime I get it but now nothing comes no matter how many time I request it. Sometimes it comes hours later or currently not at all. So I'm locked out of my computer. any idea , clues, hint, or take a bat to it

    :)

    Forgotten PIN and expired password

    Hi Dyari,

    Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

    • #1: reset PIN code
      • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    • #2: change or reset windows password
      • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
      • I am using a local account
If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

    Regards,

    Guillaume
