At the login screen it says my password has expired and needs to be changed yet I never said a password to begin with how do I go about fixing this

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

 

Cannot renew password expired

I have applied force password change for Azure AD users, but after the password expired user able to login with the password in device. I want to apply the password change prompt.

Currently, we have three ways to login into the system.

1. Password through
   
2. PIN through
   
3. Fingerprint through
   

Now, we have a policy in place for 60 days, the password should expire. Ideally, the user should get a prompt up on the screen at the time of password expiration, to change the password.



In case the user logs in through PIN or Fingerprint, MS Teams, and MS outlook such an application should prompt up to.



But that is not happening. So we need to implement this forcefully and the user has to change the password(in case of password expires) login into the system.
