    At the very end of the login process there is button that says “let’s go” although when I press it I am unable to continue. This is on the screen where you select your gamer tag and your profile picture. How can I continue?

  2. Accidentally ended all Microsoft Processes, cant login anymore

    So I wanted to end any unnecessary processes so as to lessen my memory usage %. I watched this video and i think i accidentally ended all microsoft processes
    like it says not to...

    i was prompted to restart and upon doing so, i was no longer able to login. I am 100% sure beyond any doubt that i am typing in my correct password. But prior to this, i only needed to type in a pin to login. Cant login using pin or password. Im being asked
    to type in my outlook password and it still says its incorrect.

    ive done research, ive tried holding **** and restart to bring up the system repair or restore options and every single option on that list, even reinstall windows, still prompts me to enter my password and is still registering it as wrong.

    bottom right of my screen to the left of ease of access shows a monitor with a red x on it and clicking on it shows airplane mode icon only and no wifi icon.

    its been a few hours watching videos to try and solve this and nothing works. I am unable to download any software on to a usb or cd.

    Please help.

  3. laptop wont start up..says "critical process died"

    • What is the make and model of the computer?

    • Have you installed any Windows updates prior to this issue?

    The Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error occurs due to the program that uses multiple processes to interact with your processor. If the processor is unable to process these multiple processes properly, it generates the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error.
    Sometimes this error can be quite critical as it could damage your hard disk, memory or in rare circumstances, your processor.

    Let us try the following steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Power Drain.

    • Shut down the laptop by power the system off.
    • Take out the battery from the laptop and disconnect the charger.
    • Press the power button on your laptop while it’s disconnected from any power source.
    • This will drain existing power from laptop.
    • Put the battery in and restart the laptop.
    • Login to safe mode if it gives you multiple prompts otherwise login to normal mode.
    • Once you are able to login restart the computer using restart option from windows.

    Step 2: Let us try to repair the Windows using the ISO file.

    Refer to the following link to download Windows 10 ISO file and create installation media.

    Once your media is ready follow the steps.

    • Insert media (DVD or USB drive).
    • Click on Troubleshoot.
    • Click on Advanced options.
    • Click on Startup repair.
    • Follow the on screen instructions.

    04/06/2022 – I get a no process is on the other end of the pipe. Login failed.

    I am using visual studio and package manager console, visual studio 2019, Core 5.0 MVC With Angular.

    I also have aso have sql 2008r2, 2014,2017, but i use sql server 2012,.

    This is what I run and the error message:

    PM> Scaffold-DbContext 'Data Source=.\MSSQLSERVER2012;Initial Catalog= MbsAnalysisData Trusted_Connection=TRUE User Id = *****; Password= *****' Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.SqlServer

    Build started...

    Build succeeded.

    Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.)

    ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (233): No process is on the other end of the pipe.





    I read several links that suggested all of these requirements:

    1 - in sql server configuration:

    Shared Memory – enabled.

    Named Pipes – enabled. \\.\pipe\MSSQL$MSSQLSERVER2012\sql\query

    TCP/IP – enabled.



    It was suggested I move TCP/IP above Named Pipes, how do you do that? Do you even NEED to do that?



    2 – SQL Server Agent 2012 is not running, does it need to be running? If so, when I try to start the service, it starts and stops and then says something like “some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs”.



    3 – I have my server properties in sql server management studio with the server authentication set to “SQL Server and windows authentication mode”



    4 – is there something i need to do in the registry? hope not.
