    I am very computer illiterate. I see that Legacy is for the AMD Radeon HD 3000 Series but I have ATI Radeon 3000 graphics, are they the same? Thank you.

    Yes.. They are the same. Legacy means it's the last latest driver for that hardware before Radeon HD 3000 went End-Of-Line.

    Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I tried several things, and this was the first thing to actually work (and last thing to try before having to do a roll-back to previous build). My monitors HAD been working until build 1709 this morning. Now to go and protect the driver from future updates...

    NOTE: There are newer versions now than v8.970.100.9001, however they didn't work - v8.970.100.9001 worked.

    ATI Radeon 300 driver problem

    Well, thank goodness for this thread! My monitors info has been stretched out since build 1709. After installing this AMD Catalyst and driver v8.970.100.9001, my MSI Notebook display is back to normal 1366x768! *Smile
