    ATI Radeon HD 4200 driver for 64-bit Windows 10?


    I have the Radeon 4570 and the 13.4 Legacy Drive doesn't work. I found another solution that you don't have any prolems on your second screen: No blurring screen with black borders anymore! Just follow these instructions:

    1. Run regedit.exe
    2. Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video" or other 'CurrentControlSet' with 001.
    3. Make a backup REG-file (right click on the key tree and export)
    4. Find 0000, 0001, 0002 entries
    5. Change Values to:
    "TVEnableOverscan"=dword:00000000
    Find "DALR6 DFPI 2 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" entries
    1920x1080x0x60 = 1920 pixel horizontal; 1080 pixel vertical; 60 Herz (monitor frequenzy)
    Modify ALL "DALR6 DFPI 2 xxx..." values to "00" (there are some few not "00"s) [don't change the string length! - click edit, select non "00" push delete key and type 00]
    6. Restart PC (dont change Windows or CCC settings they can overwrite your new values)
    7. Have fun!

    Thank you! This worked perfectly for me. I just got an Acer 27" as my second monitor hooked up via hdmi and had no way of adjusting overscan. Made the above registry changes and it now fills the screen.

    I have this driver, dated in 1/13/2015, on an older HP box that I took the free upgrade to 10 on. It seems to work fine.

    ATI Radeon HD 4200 driver for 64-bit Windows 10?

    Thank you you this fix has worked for me... saved my Dell studio 1557 that has a Radeon HD4500 its now looking a lot better as i can now select it's native screen res of 1366x768 should do me for a few more years. The early i7 still runs everything i need just fine.

    I have a 4350 that I can no longer configure to use above 1200 bpi (need 1600 to match my monitor's native res).

    I decided to clean the slate and reset Windows 10 then apply some recent Win 10 updates, the latest (feature 1709 or something) which requires several restarts, in the hope that MS might have corrected the problem, otherwise, I'm just going to upgrade to a 1050 TI during Boxing Week sales.

    I'm an IT person but don't have the patience to wrestle with drivers for an older video card.

    Looks like MS provided an updated W10 driver recently. I can now select 1600dpi as the native resolution for my monitor.
