    atihdwT6.sys stop error when starting Windows 10


    I came across this error message while installing a fresh copy of windows 10 build 19043.1348 to an older computer with an onboard ATI Radeon 3000 series video controller. The issue actually made it difficult for me to complete the installation. However, once installation was complete, the stop error message made it impossible for me to start windows. To resolve this issue I had to:1. boot windows 10 into safe mode with network support2. open up windows explorer3. checking folder options to show extensions for known file types4. search for ati*.sys I found instances of atihdwT6.sys in the f

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Stop Code IOMap64.sys

    Hello,

    I have issue with my new desktop just bought it around 10 days only, everything was working fine suddenly it start giving me randomly stop error in the login screen stage.

    • Error is blue screen STOP Code
    Stop code: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED

    What failed: IOMap64.sys

    I have contacted Microsoft support via chat i had big list of things to do such as disable all startup and so on. did not help. so i want to know from the dump right to the heart of the issue . Please help as i tried everything that i suspect ( No Overcooking
    yet or playing around its fresh clean setup) with water cooling system no heat up nothing new - except some standard ASUS software.)

    Start menu stopped working in Windows 10

    The Start Menu on my copy of Windows 10 stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried the suggested four steps above. The first three ran. The final one failed to run due to an error. The process did not fix the start menu. My Windows 10 computer
    is disabled and unusable. I need a solution ASAP.
