    Attaching a Cricut Air 2 via Bluetooth


    My wife got a new Cricut Air 2 craft cutting machine. It can connect via Bluetooth.
    I tried connecting via the Bluetooth procedure in the Settings/Devices/Bluetooth and it would not connect. The Bluetooth PIN is 0000 but it was not recognizing it.

    However, I was able to get it connected by going to the Control Panel Add a device. It found the Cricut and took the 0000 PIN number and installed the device.

    I cannot connect my new Cricut Explore Air 2 bluetooth device to my laptop. It is turned on and discoverable. Can you help me with this?

    Hi Ghalib,

    Haven't found a solution to connect via hotspot. Tethering (via cable) or bluetooth are the only options. If you see the thread, its not clear whether this is a a WIN10 problem or OSX or is it due to some drivers that are not available when you load bootcamp
    and install WIN10 on a Macbook Air. Either way, if you want to connect via hotspot use the OSX partition and if you like WIN10 on a Macbook Air (some people found it funny that we like WIN10 on Macbook Air) then use the tethering/bluetooth option.
