Windows 10: Attempted execute of noexecute memory. What failed: imfilter.sys

I found a thread that had the exact same problem.I installed a folder looking software “lock my folders” is the name on my laptop. After installing, it wanted to restart and so I did. After that my pc always runs into that error when booting up. I tried all the repair options, including going in safe mode and force deleting the program and its files. I didn’t install it on the main hard disk with windows. Don’t know if it made any files there. After deleting it, it still crashes and I can only go in safe mode. Please help!P.S. On the other thread the support asked for minidump files so her

ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY Blue Screen of Death error appears when a device driver attempts to execute a program from a non-executable area of the memory. An error in the RAM (Random Access Memory) can also cause this BSOD error.

Windows 10 BSOD-Attempted execute of noexecute memory

I keep getting blue screen msg: "Attempted execute of noexecute memory". I'm using microsoftoffice 365 and have the latest version of Windows 10. It has only happened since the latest version update.

Hi,
I built a desktop and it was BSODing non stop with the error message, "attempted execute of noexecute memory".

I then stripped out the components till finally only these are in the system and re- installed windows.

Asus Z170 Pro
Core i5 6600k
Gskill Ripjaws 16 GB, DDR4, 2400, CL15
Samsung 850 evo.


The memory earlier was Corsair and I swapped it for the GSkill kit, and while the BSODs have reduced, I still get them, with the same Message.

I'm attaching the dump file.
