After installing printer, I can't eject the install disc

Hi Robert,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

To reject the disc out I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press “windows+X”, it will open the “file explorer”.
• Then on the left hand side click on “This PC”.
• You will find the “DVD Drive”, right click on it
• And click on “eject option” and check whether the DVD is ejected or not.

The possible reason is due to a third party software or application. To eliminate all third party software or applications that is causing the issue, we suggest performing a
clean boot.

Note: Once you're done with the troubleshooting, please follow the steps "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting" to start your computer normally.

Can install Windows, can't install Linux

Are you doing a clean install?

Also if you are doing a clean install may I suggest this. Delete and format all partitions and let Ubuntu allocate the drive. You might have some MBR files left on the HD that is conflicting with Ubuntu booting.
