Windows 10: Attempting boot from usb device

So yesterday I tried to migrate windows from hdd to ssd, I entered bios to put ssd as the first in boot order,but when I tried rebooting it said:"system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready" I tried everything I could removing the hard drive and trying to boot from ssd, also tried to boot with only hdd but it didn't work. I tried the fixes in youtube and it still didn't work. The disks appear in bios, so I don't think there's a problem. I made a bootable usb and when I boot from it, it says:"attempting to boot from usb device", it has stayed like this for minutes. I tried r

Booting from USB on x38 Motherboard, NOT?

See sys specs... ASUS ROG x38 motherboard, flashed to x48 Rampage.

In BIOS under "Boot Device Priority", I select and of the 3 boot device slots, and no where do I find an option for USB, these are the only options in each:

• 1st floopy drive
• HDD: P0-WDC WD2500KS
• ATAPI CD-ROM
• Disabled

Is there a place in the BIOS to enable boot from USB?

It's AMI, says v02.61 on the BIOS screen

 

Booting from USB on x38 Motherboard, NOT?

Typically the USB should be listed under the hard drive boot order. Set your "Boot Device Priority" to HDD first, then set the hard drive boot order to the USB stick first.

 

Gigabyte Mobo not booting from usb

USB legecy is on and by pressing F12, i get the option which device to boot, ive tried both the usb options listed there(simple and uefi one) nothing works
