Windows 10: ATUpdaterHelper.dll error message.

I ran a Bitdefender anti-virus scan and was informed by this software that a bunch of old Windows 10 files had been made obsolete by updates, and so could be safely deleted. So I deleted them. Since then I've been getting an "ATUpdaterHelper.dll is missing" error message whenever I boot up and when navigating the web I keep getting "Unsecure site" warnings even though it may be a site like my e-mail that I go to every day; and also"not connected to the internet" warnings even though I know that I am connected because I'm at google. Did I accidentally delete a necessary file? Is that why I keep getting these warnings? How can I fix this problem?

There are many possible reasons why this issue is happening. Let's try to register Msxml4.dll to help resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Press and hold Windows key + X, then select Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• If prompted with permission dialog box, click Yes.
  
• Type regsvr32 /u msxml4.dll, then press
  Enter. This will un-register your file.
  
• Type regsvr32 /i msxml4.dll, then press Enter. This will re-register your file.
  
• Close Command Prompt.
  
• Restart the program associated with the msxml4.dll error.
