Windows 10: Audio and internet don't work after Windows Update

Hello - I have a Dell Inspiron 11th Gen core i5 running Windows 10 21H1. After one of the recent Windows Update, I'm facing two problems: Audio: My Sennheiser PC-8 USB headset mic does not work at all. When I plug the headset in, it freezes up YouTube, Zoom and anything using the headphone. I've tried everything from uninstalling/reinstalling the headset to doing a fresh install of Windows. Nothing works. Network adapter: My Wifi network just keeps dropping on my laptop even though the same Wifi network is working perfect on all my other devices. Hello guys!I have a problem with advanced audio v2 on windows 10 don-t work

 

internet audio isnt working

Hard data works on the desktop through software but streaming audio or flash audio through internet browsers doesnt seem to play.

im working on this problem on someone else's computer. i've updated their realtek audio controllers through windows update, i've uninstalled and reinstalled adobe flash, i've tried both IE and FF3 and i still dont see any resolve.

if there's anything that can be done or if anyone else has had this problem in the past, suggestions are welcomed.

this computer is a compaq with vista home premuim, 1G ram, intel chipsets, and realtek audio controllers.

This issue seems to be due to the incorrect/incompatible audio card drivers on the computer. I would suggest you to uninstall the existing Audio Card Drivers and then reinstall the latest Windows 10 compatible Drivers for your computer model.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Audio Card Drivers



Uninstall the Device Drivers

• Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
• Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
• Search for the Audio device from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device”
  you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.

After the restart, please open the Device Manager again and then click on the “Scan for hardware changes” button. Check if Windows detects the Audio Card device and installs an appropriate driver
automatically. If the issue still persists, then try the next step. Reinstall the latest Windows compatible Audio Drivers.
