Windows 10: Audio and Mic Settings for the "Your Phone" App

As of now I am unable to hear calls made using the "Your Phone" app. In the sound settings on Windows the app defaults to no mic and an audio setting which is not a system default. Changing them in the sound settings does not work. As soon as I change them, the second I close settings and re open it they revert back to the incorrect settings. Redirect application audio as mic audio


There is a app I use for my mic called WO mic and this plays live audio from my phone to the computer application, can I redirect the audio in the PC application as Mic audio for gaming? If not are there any applications I can download that can do this?

Try method 2, if the issue persist



Method 2: If the Recording Audio troubleshooter do not fix the
issue then I would suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps to set the microphone as a default device:

      Right click on the “Sound icon” on the bottom right of the desktop screen
      
    • 
      Click on “Sounds”, click on “Recording”
      
    • 
      Right click on “Microphone” and then click on “Set as default device”
      
    • 
      Click on “Apply” and then “OK”

Go Settings - Privacy - Background Apps - And make sure Bluetooth Audio Receiver is ON





The Bluetooth Audio Receiver App should be listed on Start




Go to Microsoft store - Search for Bluetooth Audio Receiver
And click on the three dots ... and select pin to start or taskbar
