  1. Audio begins crackling every few days

My audio began crackling a few days ago and I can restart my computer to fix it but that’s a fairly lengthy process since it’s just a laptop and I’d like to not be interrupted by broken audio while using it. Is there any permanent solution. It only happens when my headphones are in and when they’re out there’s no audio. The headphones work fine with my phone and PS4. Could it be something to do with the damaged battery warning that happens when I start it that says it may not work at full power

  2. Audio Crackling

Recently, I've noticed that the audio with my speakers and headphones is "crackling". It doesn't seem to matter what the volume is set at, nor what program I'm running. If I'm playing a game, the audio crackles. If I'm listening to music, the audio crackles.
I've tried downloading/updating my audio drivers, but nothing seems to help.

  3. Audio from laptop speaker crackles

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop that starting making crackling noises in it's built in speakers last week. It makes the noise when playing any kind of sound. I ran the audio troubleshooter and nothing was found. I rolled back a display
driver update I got a few days before hand but it was still making the noise. I then uninstalled the audio driver and restarted my laptop. When it came back on, the driver came back by itself and it stopped making the crackling noises. But tonight it started
doing it again. I ran the troubleshooter again and it suggested turning off audio enhancements but nothing is checkmarked except "immediate mode". I removed the checkmark but the sound is still crackling.

    Audio Pop/Stutter/Crackle When Stopping Audio

I've disabled audio enhancements and tried changing audio formats, but the problem persists.

I spent two days looking for a solution and I tried literally everything.

The best I can do is explain the problem a bit further.

Basically when audio is played on the PC there's a pop right at the beginning. Playing/pausing a video whether it's a local file or a Youtube video does the same thing (happens randomly). I made sure it's not a hardware problem by trying my Schiit stack on both my laptop and PC. After that I tried both the onboard audio of my laptop and PC. They both had the same problem. I even reinstalled windows just in case, but that didn't help. This started 3 days ago and I'm really confused and trying to figure out what is causing this. You can check out what I wrote in the thread at the beginning of the list of things I tried.

Here's a pic of what you asked, and thanks again for replying!
