Windows 10: Audio Cable issue

So i unplugged the green audio cord on the back of my computer and when i did the audio jack in the front of my pc does not work. It would only work when i plugged it into the monitor. It now does not work with either even when i plugged it in every way i could try and nothing is working. Please Help.

Digital Audio Cable

The My P5Q-E motherboard supports:

• Digital coaxial outputs
• 3.5mm jacks front and rear, but you need a RCA to 3.5mm cable

Both cable methods carry stereo for games, MP3s etc unless you use the receivers 2.0 to 5.1 up mix feature such as Prologic or DTS Neo.

I'll advise you use digital coaxial as you'll be able to listen to Dolby Digital and DTS from genuine DVDs (not DD True HD or DTS Masters)

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
