Windows 10: Audio Clicking/Popping after freeze and forced shutdown.

Winver 1903 (OS build 18362.592)

After attempting to load a Google Doc (not a short one, but one I've been able to load without a hitch every other time) my computer froze and I had to force-shutdown, since then my audio has been crackling and popping, and LatencyMon has been showing high latency on ndis.sys, I managed to get it down to intermittently popping/crackling by changing the power plan and Ethernet settings, but a couple of days later the problem resurged. I've managed to get it back down to intermittently (high internet usage like downloading files seems to make it worse) by updating my network adapter's driver, but I don't know if this'll last.

Laptop freezes, have to force shutdown.

Original title: my laptop wont shutdown.

I go through the process and it freezes so i have to a force shutdown, even if try to put it sleep

 

Click on Shutdown, it doesn't shutdown, screen goes black and unresponsive

Step 1: Run the
Power troubleshooter

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Power
  troubleshooter.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website. Both Display
driver and Audio drivers.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

Can not record audio.
