Windows 10: Audio completely gone after Windows Cumulative Update Preview KB5043145

Hello!Last night after an automatic update Windows Cumulative Update Preview KB5043145, my Realtek audio drivers are suddenly gone and I can't for the life of me get this to work again.System I'm running:Windows 11 Pro 23H2 64bitsMSI Prestige 16Studio A13VE13th Gen IntelR CoreTM i7-13700HWhat I've tried:Scanning again for Windows Updates to fix this, nothing comes up;Troubleshooting obviously nothing, just just I don't have an audio driver connected!Using a driver downloading software to search for my drivers, nothing comes up;Downloading the Realtek drivers from MSI's website for my s

Cumulative Update KB4020102 Windows 10 v1703 Build 15063.332

• Addressed issue where, after installing the Creators Update, audio output through external decoders no longer works.

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

How do I disable the "Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11" updates?

Thank you Dhanam for your quick resoponce, Two things,

• Don't confuse the "Cumulative Update Preview" updates with the "Cumulative Update Preview for Windows Insiders". It is two different things. As I stated initially, I am NOT part of the Windows Insider Program.
  
• I do to wish to pause all updates. The "Cumulative Update Preview" package is a separate update package that Microsoft sends out each month. I just don't want to receive that particular update. I only want the updates AFTER they have been previewed.
