Windows 10: Audio cuts out when plugged into HDMI

When I plug my 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 into a 1 year old TCL smart TV via HDMI, the audio begins to cut out and stutter after a few minutes. This happens with several games, but especially on games that tend to be very quiet. The game I primarily tested with was Signalis. It particularly happens during periods of relative quietness during the game, which is quite frequent.I've tested 2 old HDMI cables and 1 new one that I bought specifically to remedy this issue it didn't fix it.I ran the laptop through the new HDMI into an old "dumb" TV and the audio had no stuttering or at least I couldn't

Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.

Have you tried to reconfigure your audio settings? If not, try to change your audio output settings to HDMI by following the steps below:

• Press Windows ( ) key + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click Hardware & Sound.
• Click Manage Audio Devices.
• Select the HDMI device listed under the Playback tab.
• Click Set as default and click Ok.

Also, we suggest to update your audio driver.

Lost Audio on my HDMI

I have lost the HDMI audio on my computer. It no longer appears in Payback Devices. Tried reboot and un plugging and plugging HDMI cord and still no luck. HDMI still working ok with display. Any suggestion fo a fix would be greatly appreciated.
