Windows 10: Audio delay from windows 11

I'm having a problem with windows 11 where the audio becomes out of sync after running games for a while.There is a ~1 second delay on the sound playing after the corresponding action happens.I've only managed to correct this issue by restarting the applications or manually restarting windows audio service.My audio drivers are up to date.Windows power plan is set to balanced.Windows troubleshooting did not manage to find any problems.This issue only occurs in games and doesn't affect my internet browser or media player.How do I permanently fix this? Please help.

Delay audio for specific device

My personal opinion is that adding a delay to the computer audio is not a precise
solution, for two reasons :

• There is no way that you can measure exactly the required delay
  
• Such a delay will be confusing for everyday work with the computer.
  

I suggest instead using a software product that specializes in mixing audio
and can solve the delay problem without introducing new problems.

An example product is the free
VB-Audio VoiceMeeter Banana.

I have no experience with the product, but I believe that you could use
this feature to introduce an audio delay.

 

Audio Half a Second Delayed (Windows 11, Bose QC earbuds)

I am having an issue where my sound is around half a second delayed, and I can't figure out why. Let's run through the obvious stuff I've done:

• Restart my computer (multiple times)
  
• Updated my computer
  
• Check audio drivers for updates
  
• Test multiple different applications (they're all delayed)
  
• Test my earbuds with my iphone (no delay)
  
• Test built-in computer speakers (no delay, so there must be an issue with windows connecting to this specific device)
  

Closest I've gotten to fixing it was opening up the audio enhancement menu, which brought a dramatic decrease in audio quality but somehow (magically?) fixed the delay, before even making any adjustments. I restarted my computer again and now this menu does nothing, not even decrease the audio quality. I've tried disabling all the audio enhancements and no noticeable change occurs anymore. I'm at a loss for what I should try next, I would appreciate any advice.

 

Delayed video playback on Windows 11

I did a fresh install of Windows 11 yesterday, absolutely love it and didn't encounter any bugs yet; except this, on YouTube, I realized that the audio is fine, but the video is a bit behind/delayed. I checked on other video sharing sites, same problem. Did a restart hoping something, nope. Any suggestions? (I use Microsoft Edge, I never encountered this issue on Windows 10 so going to put this in "Performance and system failures" in Windows 11 category)
