Windows 10: Audio device not detected after "physically" moving laptop

As titled every time i physically move my laptop ASUS X555LD, now 5 years-old audio device is not detected and i have a red cross on the sound sign in taskbar. I have installed the latest driver for my audio device, and after restart it's all good until the next laptop move and restart. Is this a hardware or software problem, and what can i do?Thank you.

My audio output devices have disappeared from my HP laptop.

I have an HP laptop running Windows 10. My audio output devices have disappeared. Not just no devices installed, but no devices listed in Device Manager. Tried troubleshooting and still no devices found. Tried connecting USB speakers, but those were not
detected either.

Suggestions?

when I plug my headphones into the front panel audio jack, a dialog box pops up, like this one:





Yet sound is turned off. I can look at this dialog box as well:









Any help is appreciated.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to run sound audio troubleshooter, it will automatically detect the problem and fix it. Follow the below steps.

  Press Windows key + R and click on
  Control Panel.

  Click on View by: category and click on
  Small icon.
  
• 
  Now click on troubleshooting and click on
  Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Playing Audio and Click on Next button.
  

If the issue still persist try the below steps:

Method 2.

I recommend you to update the audio driver and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• Now click on Audio input and output and right click on it and
  update the driver.
• For the video issues try the below method.

Method 3.

Also I suggest you to update the display driver and let us know the status.

• 
  Press Windows Key + R and type
  devmgmt.msc in the box and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Locate and Expand the Display Adapter driver.
  
• 
  Right Click on the Display Device.
  
• 
  Click on update.
