Windows 10: Audio device problem

I'm hoping someone has come across a resolution for this.

So I have a Soundblaster Z audio card.

Now I don't use all the outputs so I put it on stereo front speakers, instead of 5.1

However every time I turn on my pc I have to change that setting back from 5.1 which it seems to go to by default no matter how many times I change it.

Has anyone come across a fix to stop this constantly changing?

Audio Devices Problem

I am using Windows 10.1 OS with asus motherboard and realtek hih definition as audio driver. Recently, when i was about to unpulg the speakers and plug it in I couldn't hear any sound. But, when I turn on audio enhancement from from audio manager I could
hear a sound at a very low rate. But when I disable audio enhancement i could hear no sound. when I searched through the net, many said that disable audio enhancement for better quality. But in my case it is upside down. So anyone can help me !!!!

 

Problem with audio devices

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with my audio devices cause they don't make any sound anymore. I checked the jack and it works cause the pc recognizes the devices and it looks like they work correctly . I also updated the drivers, try to enable/disable the audio device,
but nothing happened.

I have a dual boot system configuration with Win10 and Win7 (due to my job needs) and the audio devices don't work either with the former and the latter operating system.

However, the normal audio system of the computer perfectly work.

If anybody has any suggestion, it would be great!
