Windows 10: "Audio devide missing or not installed" is this a game or Windows 11 problem?

I just downloaded Postal from Steam and when i click to launch it it shows a popup that reads:"The required audio mode 22.050 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono could not be set properly.There is no audio device or the driver is incorrectly installed or missing."And gives me the option to continue without audio but thats such a bummer and I don't want to.I reinstalled the driver, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, restarted by laptop twice, it keeps showing that. The rest of the game is completely playable and every other game/program I have works perfectly without a single error. Is this an error of the

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Audio problem

Upon checking, HP Beats Audio is an application that was installed by the OEM (Orginal Equipment Manufacturer) of your computer. The HP Beats application may be connected to the audio driver of your computer. The audio driver of your computer may have an
issue that is why the application is missing. We suggest that you re-install the audio driver of your computer to resolve the issue. Please take note that you need to unplug your external speaker before re-installing the audio driver. To do this, follow these
steps:

• Right click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Choose Device Manager.
• On the Device Manager Window, double-click Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
• Right the audio driver, and then select Uninstall.
• On the Confirm Device Uninstall window, click the Delete the driver software for this device check box.
• Click OK.
• After uninstalling the audio driver, download the audio driver software of your computer. You can download it by visiting the support page of HP.
• After downloading the audio driver software, run the installer.
• Follow the prompts of the installer.
• After re-installing the driver, check if you can access the HP Beats application and also check if your external speakers will work.

Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.
