Windows 10: Audio drop outs in Windows 10

Very frustrated here! I bought a new mini pc NUC and after installing my audio production software I noticed that any audio played on the system is plagued by drop outs etcetera. I then checked out some forums and found this is a huge problem for many other audio producers and musicians. Many have tried contacting MS and none have solved the problem under Windows 10. Many have solved the problem by moving back to 8.1 or 7. I attempted to do this but I cannot get the machine to recognize my usb CD/RW drive as a boot device in the BIOS/UEFI. Why is working with a windows machine so damn difficult all of a sudden?


Anyway, are you people going to fix this audio drop out problem and release an upgrade, or what?

Audio out of sync in video Windows 10

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you facing this issue with particular video file or all the video files?
  
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving this issue.

Note: The steps mentioned below are applicable to Windows Media player only.

Make sure “Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized”

1. Open Windows Media Player.

2. Click on Tools and then on Options

3. Switch to Performance tab.

4. Ensure that a check is next to the "Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized" and "Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" options.

5. Click "Apply" and click "OK."

Restart Windows Media Player and open a video file. Ensure that the audio and video are in sync.

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
