Windows 10: Audio Enhancement Missing, Blank and or NOT WORKING

I know I'm gonna get some bot response, but none the less I will ask.. Why is the damn audio enhancement tab so finicky in Windows?? Half the time its missing completely, the other half its blank as shown below, the other times its there BUT actually isn't working properly.. When Windows Loudness Equalization is working as it should, you should be able to leave your volume at around 10% to 15% and it should sound as if it is at 50% to 60%. Windows 11 and this are so unbelievable finicky its mind numbing.. The community created a work around with PowerShell and I've found a program that enables

One step that we could try is to manually re-install the Audio Enhancement, and see if it helps. First, go to HP's website and download the latest Audio Enhancement installer (IDT) and save it to your Downloads folder. Once done, follow the remaining steps
below:

• Search for Control Panel via Cortana search and hit the
  Enter key.
• Open the Device Manager and click Sound, Video and Game controllers.
• Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC.
• Once your PC restarts, it should automatically load all audio driver. Let it complete the process.
• Go to the Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select
  Run as administrator.

Once complete, check if you have the enhancements back and let us know the outcome.

 

Audio Enhancements Tab Missing

Well isn't there a way to force Audio Enhancements to enable on my PC? Usually there are workarounds and or Fixes For these types of things. If not, then Thanks for the help.. But i can in no way afford a new motherboard. I hope you guys have a good experience.

 

Audio Enhancements Tab Missing

According to the ASUS site, this has VIA HD Audio, however there is no Win 10 drivers listed. There are no Win 8.1 drivers listed either.
There are Win 7 drivers listed however, in most cases they are not compatible. Usually you need Win 8.1 drivers to be Win 10 compatible.

I suspect Windows installed the generic, basic function, High Definition Driver. If that is the case, you will not have the Audio Enhancements and probably the best you can do with this older motherboard and Win 10 audio.
