  1. Audio for both monitors stop working after computer waking from sleep

I only use one with speakers but both of them stop working after my computer wakes from sleep. The only fix that works every time is restarting which is really annoying and tedious. It never used to do this and recently started doing it within the last 2/3 weeks, so I have to guess its some sort of windows issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Computer's Audio Jacks Stopped Working

The audio jacks stopped working and it is not a hardware problem.

    1. Multiple headsets do not get audio output from both of the audio jacks on the computer and the headsets are confirmed to be working, so it's the computer's problem.
    2. The audio output through a DisplayPort monitor's audio jack and monitors' speakers still work, so the computer can still produce audio. The monitor's audio jack is not an option.
    3. Both audio jacks stopped working at the same time despite only one being in use, so it's not hardware.
What is the problem and what is the solution?

Audio device unrecognised after waking from sleep

From time to time I wake my laptop from sleep and find that the audio driver (Conexant Venice) is no longer loaded. The audio hardware is listed in the Device Manager as just "base system device" (or two base system devices, to be precise). Rebooting fixes the problem each time, but it takes a while. Is there a quicker way to make the audio work again than rebooting? I've tried obvious steps like running the troubleshooter and disabling and then re-enabling the devices.
