  1. Audio from Computer Screen being used as my Microphone Input

When I try to talk over the computer using my headphones on apps like Discord or Skype, nobody I am talking to can hear me and when I check the system settings and try and change the default input, my computer says that whatever audio is playing on my computer screen, whether it be a YouTube video or my friends on the other end of the call, are counting as my microphone input but when I try to talk it won't recognize that I am talking. How can I change it so my microphone doesn't pick up any input from my computer screen and instead just picks up input from the microphone on my headphones? I should also mention that my computer doesn't have any speakers, so any sound counting as the mic input is completely internal.

    :)
