  1. Audio from the local desktops to the headset drops on intermittent calls

Hi, I have my call center people, their client applications are running within Citrix. Within Citrix they use Avaya one X and Teams as platform to receive the calls from the customers. when the agent receives the calls randomly the audio does not work in the local desktop. it works for few calls and then suddenly audio drops from the headset. when we listen, we can see the customer is on call, but our agent does not hear the customer to his headset connecting to his desktop. it looks like the audio changes to local desktop instead of the headset connected to the machine,

    :)

  2. Headset mike not recognized - can't open Audio Manager

You could try going into settings and running the 'Troubleshooter'. Although this might not work as I think it may be a software/driver issue.

Ah okay. I have had a look at the manufacture Nubwo, and there doesn't seem to be any official drivers or software listed.

Thus I would suggest we try and uninstall everything related to the headset, and then let everything install automatically, as it had done on the other desktop (assuming everything was automatically configured, and it just worked).

1.) See if you can first remove the Realtek Audio Manager 1.0.0.222 software by uninstalling it.
    • Settings > Apps > Click on the app and select 'Uninstall.'

2.) After that right click on Start menu (*Start) and select 'Device Manager'
    • Under the 'View' tab, select 'Show hidden devices'
    • Then click on the arrow before 'Sound, video and game controllers' as well as 'Audio inputs and outputs' (this should drop down to reveal a list of audio drivers and headsets)
    • I can help you with which driver (in relation to your headset) to uninstall, if you post back with a screenshot.

Optional.) Or if you are comfortable with knowing which driver to uninstall, then do so
    • Right click on the driver name > Uninstall (Check 'delete software for this device'). Perform a restart and plug the headset back in.

Telegram Desktop audio using Speakers and not Headset

Hi all, I use both Skype and Telegram for voice calls. With Skype it works fine, the app's audio setting is set to the Plantronics headset while Windows Sound setting is set to the Windows speakers/mic, and when I place/receive Skype calls the audio/mic comes out thru my Plantronics headset. In Telegram, even if the app's audio setting is set to Plantronics, the audio/mic comes out thru the laptop's speakers/mic, forcing me to set the Windows Sound setting to Plantronics Default each time I want to place/receive a call. Any idea why this is happening? Maybe it's a Telegram bug. I'm using Telegram Desktop latest version 3.5.1. I'm attaching a screenshot of Skype, Telegram and Windows sound settings as explained above.

In the last month or so I have been getting intermittent sound & dropped Skype calls when using my Plantronics Savi 7xx headset. I have had over year on Windows 10 without any issues.
