Windows 10: Audio glitchy when sound comes through both sidesleft and right simultaneously

Yesterday when I opened my PC, the sound was really glitchy. I can hear sound if the sound comes through one side only. But when sound is coming through both sides, I cant hear anything clearly. I figured out that this was happening using the balance options on the speaker properties.If I set either of L or R to 0, the sound can be heard clearly but I need to crank the volume up as there is sound through one side only. However, as I bring the values closer to each other, the sound starts to disappear and in the end, I can barely hear anything. The audio was working fine yesterday morning but w

Sound coming from both speaker and headphone

Hi Abhigyan,

This issue may occur due to damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates, and problems with your sound card. I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: Let's first run Audio Troubleshooter and check.

• 
  Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
  
• 
  Click hardware and sound and click on ‘Playing Audio’.
  

Method 2: If the issue persists, I would suggest you to make sure the default audio device is set correctly.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  control panel.
  
• 
  Type Sound in the search box and click on
  Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Playback tab.
  
• 
  Right-click on Microphone and select
  Set as default device.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and then Ok.
  

Method 3: If the issue persists, I would suggest you to download and install latest audio driver from the computer manufacturer website. Check if it helps.

Is it possible to play sound through headphones and HDMI output simultaneously?

Hi David,

I would like to inform that it is not possible to output sound through both the HDMI and the headphone jack simultaneously.

But you can watch video through HDMI and listen via headphone jack.

Follow the steps below.

• Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar
• Left click playback devices
• Right click HDMI
• Select Disable.

No sound Audio
