Windows 10: [AUDIO HELP] Windows 10 help: Won't detect headsets and when switching audio from headset...

Please help, I'm absolutely losing my mind. I've been using a Logitech PRO X headset for over a year, last month it was having issues being detected by Windows and then it suddenly stopped being detected at all. The little chime would play if I plugged in the USB, but the drivers, the device, etc, could not be detected AT ALL by my PC. After much troubleshooting, I gave up and bought a different headset. Now it's the same deal. I plug it in, the chime plays, it was detected BUT NO SOUND. It's set as the default for both input and output, the PC and drivers are up to date. I messed around, unin

Bluetooth headset doesn't get detected as audio device automatically

Win10 Pro x64 1809
Headset: August EP650 (Bluetooth v 4.2)

I've got the headphones paired via Bluetooth but when clicking on the sound icon in systray there's no option to quick switch.

To get audio through the headset I have to go to Devices and Printers, right-click the headset icon, select Control, then I get the following window:





I then have to choose Connect.

Only then does the option to switch audio appear in the sound pop-up





I'm not sure what is required to get the headphones detected automatically - is it a limitation of the headset or my Bluetooth dongle?

 

Need help on finding an audio driver that detects headset and headset microphone.

Hi guys, I would like to ask if what audio driver has a detection function of headsets and mic because on my current audio driver, it doesn't detect the headset's mic and My Laptop is an Acer Swift 3 (SF314-41) the AMD Ryzen 5 one and I am currently running a Windows 11 OS

 

Headset Help


So I recently got a laptop due to the hard drive on my old PC failing, and this laptop only has one audio port so I connected the headset without using a splitter and a setup popped up, I selected to use it as a headset and went to record some audio, but it used the mic built into the laptop and I want to use the one connected to my headset and the headphones at the same time, so how do I do that?

NOTE: The headset mic does NOT show up when I go to audio devices, and disabling the one pre-built doesn't help either.
