Windows 10: Audio input issues

Hey guys, I am Mihir GargI use a HP Pavillion Windows 11 with Intel Smart Sound microphone inbuiltMy mic was working absolutely fine, until it suddenly decided not toI can still use Google chrome voice search, but other apps such as recorder, camera, WhatsApp or Zoom aren't inputting my audio, and it's getting really frustratingI tried troubleshooting, but to no availAll my apps have access to the micAny other mics I use like with my headsets are working absolutely fine, its just the inbuilt micKindly guide me out of this problem

Audio Issues Switching Between HDMI Inputs

Having problems with audio when switching between HDMI Inputs. Have tried updating drivers, changing output devices, windows audio restart, switching which HDMI they are on, changed HDMI cords etc. NOTHING works. We have a PC in HDMI 3 and a PS4 in HDMI 2. HDMI 2 always works fine. However, when switching back to the PC, we MUST restart the PC when we switch inputs back to it in order to receive audio.

We also have the issue if we turn off the display and leave the pc running. We must restart the entire computer before we receive audio in the PC input. We are assuming this is a windows issue of some sort because we don't have the issue with the PS4 input. Only when we are on the PC.

We have never had these issues before under the same setup for a few years now. Issues arose on their own in the past few months,

Any suggestions?

 

Windows 10 Audio input to programs broken

Recently my audio input, from USB headset and USB guitar cable have stopped working. Going into Windows 'Sounds' and enabling 'Listen to this device' outputs the audio as expected; the problem is not with the devices. However, as soon as I try to use them with any other program, discord, for example, no audio input is detected by discord.

I have tried everything I can think of and some suggestions from Googling around;

• Updating everything - windows, drivers, all related software
  
• Rolling windows back to the last build
  
• Trying different USB ports
  
• Reinstalling drivers and software
  
• Running Windows troubleshooters
  
• Playing with device properties settings
  

But nothing seems to work, any suggestions?
