Windows 10: Audio is not detected by microphone.

I'm using window 10 currently,the problem i'm facing is that my microphone is not workingaudio is not dected.I had done alot of method on youtube.Such as enabing privacy,update/reinstall driver,and even check if i'm muted or not.control panel,device manager are checked.I also check for my pc update and quality of microphone.All is working as well mic is working on my phone.Anyone can help me?Tysm.Note:The mic i brought is functioning on my phone,is it the problem?Maybe like the mic is only specific on phone.But i did checked that my pc is showing the microphone iconsuccessfully plug in

Microphone not detected

I've run it, it says the problem was 'Generic audio driver'. But I don't actually feel any problems on playing audios. My problem was about external microphones not detected, this laptop wont detect any external microphones
plugged in, it will always use the internal microphone. I've done the troubleshoot (recording audio) and the troubleshoot said they can't detect the problem.

 

Headphones microphone not detected

Hi guys, my microphone worked well till someone changed some settings on my laptop and now idk how to change it back. I can hear in my headphones but the microphone is not detect. Only the laptop microphone works.... I have Steelseries arctis 3

1. Check the Physical Connection: Make sure you have correctly plugged in the headset into the right port. Some laptops have separate audio and microphone jacks, while others use a single jack for both. If your laptop has a single jack and your headset has separate audio and microphone plugs, you might need a splitter adapter.
   
2. Check the Sound Settings: Go to the Sound settings (search for it in the Start menu). Under the ‘Input’ section, check if your microphone is listed. If it is, select it and try speaking into the microphone to see if the ‘Test your microphone’ bar shows any activity.
   
3. Reinstall Audio Driver: If updating the driver doesn’t work, you can try reinstalling it. Go to ‘Device Manager’, expand the ‘Sound, video and game controllers’ list. Right-click on your audio device, and choose ‘Uninstall device’. After the device is uninstalled, restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the audio driver.
   
4. Check the Headset: Test your HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Core on another device, such as another computer or a phone. If the microphone still doesn’t work, it might be an issue with the headset itself.
   
5. Realtek HD Audio Manager: If your laptop has the Realtek HD Audio Manager installed, open it and check if the microphone is detected there.
