Windows 10: Audio is not working on my new PC

I have bought the parts and had a local computer store put them together for me.I noticed that the only sound output is NVIDIA, the video card! so needless to say there is no sound coming out from the computer at all!When I connect my headset via bluetooth it works!But when I use the front 3.5mm jack it does not work at all.So I tried to disable NVIDIA in device manager and went on MSI motherboard website and downloaded an audio driver and installed but nothing changed.this is the motherboard that I gotMSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI LGA 1700 280 DDR5 ATX Motherboards - Intel, SATA 6Gbps, Wi-Fi 6E

AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Audio not working on new pc

Follow the methods below and check if it helps:

Method 1: Run built in Audio Device troubleshooter

Step 1: Press
Windows Key then type troubleshoot and press
Enter.

Step 2: Select
View all on the left panel and run Playing Audio troubleshooter from the list and see if it works

Step 3: Click Advanced, ensure to check
Apply repairs automatically and also select Run as administrator

Step 4: Click
Next.

Method 2: Try updating the driver and check if it helps

Step 1: Open run command by pressing
Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc and press
Enter.

Step 2: Spot and expand the
Audio inputs and outputs.

Step 3: Right click on the
High Definition Audio Device and select Update Driver Software. Once this is done, restart the computer to check the problem fixed.

Check and install the latest driver from the device manufacturer website for Windows 10.
