  1. Audio is only at a vague whisper.

OK so. Everything was working fine yesterday. Turned on PC today. And had no audio. Was able to troubleshoot the problem to be able to get at least 5% of the overall volume. But am unable to get any more than that.

I am currently using a Yamaha MG10XU sound board, and at fist I thought it was a soundboard problem, but it is 3 months old and everything else works on it so I doubt that is the issue.

I can hear me on the microphone clear as day but 5% of everything else. I have done just about everything I could find to solve the problem but idk what it could be.

I checked the drivers, none need updates. I restarted the sound stuff in the sound section of the control panel. I checked the mixer and everything is on. Nothing is muted. Checked to see if I accidentally hit a hot key. Checked the properties of all the audio stuff and all is working. Under sound in the control room it is even showing that the computer is acknowledging that there is audio via the sound bar moving, but I'm not getting any of it. Apparently this is not an uncommon issue, im just stumped. :/ please help.

    :)

Can't play Ghost Whisperer on Windows 10

    Hi Janet,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you are facing. I will certainly help you with this.

    • Do you receive any error message?
This could be a compatibility issue. I suggest you to install the game in a compatibility mode and check if this helps.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.
Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

    b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

    c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

    d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

    Thank you.
