Windows 10: Audio issue while using voice chat Only using headphones

When i join a voice chat Like Discord, Team Speak 3, WhatsApp and others the audio of other application and of the system becomes low quality. This has been happening since I formatted the pc; when i'm using pc speakers realtek audio I do not have this problem, but only when I use JBL Bluetooth 500bt headphones.If i start any application the audio is high quality, but when i join a voice chat it changes to low quality.I also disabled the option "Allow application to take exclusive control of this device", as the default format I'm using 2 channel 16bit 44100Hz CD Quality.I need to solve

Remove voice chat echo without needing headphones

When I voice chat with 3 people (using Discord/Teamspeak/Skype etc) and one of them talks their voice gets echoed from my end so the 3rd person can hear them twice. When I talk they can only hear me once.

I don't wear headphones so I know it's the feedback from my speakers that they are hearing.

In my old PC I used to use Acoustic Echo Cancellation which came part of Realtek HD Audio that solved this problem. My current laptop doesn't support this feature.

How do I go about solving this issue without needing to put in my headphones? Is there perhaps a built in tool for Windows 10 or an application I can use?

 

Voice chat audio no longer comes through Default communication device (mic works fine)

A factor why you're voice chat sounds goes through your speakers as well is due to configuration settings. We suggest that you configure playback devices. Follow the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound >
  Sound.
• Left-click on Speakers > Click on Set as Default Device.
• Left-click on Headphones > Select Set as Default Communication Device.
• Click OK.

If the issue still occurs, contact your device manufacturer's support for assistance on configuring your device.

Let us know what happens after following the suggested troubleshooting steps.

 

360 Voice Chat Question

But when your using Ventrilo etc, I take it your using an headset???? Which would mean your getting game audio and voice audio through the headphones on the headset???? You can do this with the 360 by getting a 3rd party stereo headset. What your doing with the 360 seems kind of strange anyway. I couldnt imagine playing a team based game like Call Of Duty and having to shout out orders at a mic on the Kinect *Wtf :wtf:

MS used to give you an headset for chat with the console, but it seems you dont get it with the 4GB (but you do with the 250GB) *Frown

PS: like I said, once you have an headset, official (chat audio only) or 3rd party (ingame + chat audio) you can change the audio level for the game and voice seperately anyway.
