Windows 10: Audio issues, W11.

I'm having this issue where my audio suddenly stops working, and only returns when I switch from, let's say, DTS:X Ultra to Windows Sonic for Headphones or when I unplug my headset and plug it again.It's not an issue within my headset, or within my connections/cables, but rather from windows, as I've tried restoring it, updating drivers, etc.

W11 does not recognize old audio (CDA) disc.

W11 using Rioddas external DVD player does not recognize old audio (CDA) disc. File Explorer does not read the disc. All W11 drivers are up to date. I downloaded / installed VLC Player and it cannot see the disc. Everything works fine with MP3 based files. WMP does not see the CD.

It suggest that either Rioddas player does not support CDA disc (legacy audio) or W11 is missing some type of driver.

Please help.

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.

• Select Recording Audio.
