Windows 10: Audio Issues

So as the title says, I'm having issues with my audio.. I am trying to setup a 2 pc stream using a goxlr mixer, and I have everything connected correctly, but on my stream pc where I am supposed to set my "line-in" as my default audio device in order for me to be able to select goxlr within the OBS audio settings; I am currently unable to because it says that "line-in" is not plugged in.


I've restarted my computer after making sure everything is plugged in correctly, I've also tried reinstalling the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, and it's still showing that nothing is plugged in.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
