Windows 10: audio issues.

I have checked all over the internet and I have not come across such an issue. my windows 10 laptop dell latitude e7270 is acting up. the audio is breaking up as if it is a phone line with a bad connection. when I lower the volume to a more comfortable listening volume it begins to drop out. for example if the volume is low enough if somebody whispers in a movie, the audio just completely disappears. and the level of the volume is not too low, it is just at regular listening level but if somebody whispers or a low level sound is made in the movie or YouTube video, it just drops out completely

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
