Windows 10: Audio jack recognizing my headphones but no sound goes through

Hello!I recently bought a new pair of headphones Audio Technica M50X and although the computer seems to detect a new device getting plugged in, no sound goes through my headphones. Before them, I had the razer kraken which uses a usb connection, and it worked perfectly fine. I also have some speakers that connect through bluetooth and those work well too. Only the audio jack seems to cause me issues. I have tried many things to trouble shoot:- rebooting my pc multiple times- using the audio jack on the mobo and front of my pc both detect, but no sound- updating my drivers, using an old d

I would also like to add that the Realtek HD audio manager recognizes that something has been plugged into the headphone jack but does not output any sound in spite of that.

 

Headphones recognized as Speakers...

Having your headphones recognized as speaker when plugged in at the back of your PC could be the reason why the audio is low. To help us isolate the problem, we suggest running first the audio troubleshooter from the link Fix

In case the issue persists, then let's remap or retask your Realtek audio jack and see if it addresses the issue. To do that, follow the steps below:

• Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
• In the back panel, right click the option where your headphone is connected.
• Choose the option Connector Retasking, then select Headphone.

Headphone jack no longer working with Realtek.

When you plug in your Head set the Mic goes in the red lack and the Headphone jack goes in the green jack. This will automatically cut the sound to the speakers. I am talking about the from inputs. The Realtek Audio Console can be downloaded from the store. Below are some images that may help.
