Windows 10: Audio keeps not working on Windows

Hi there,


I’ve beeb struggling with audio problems the last two months. Windows audio stops working every time i click ‘restart’ instead of ‘shutdown’ or if i leave the computer for 30minutes whole no music or sound is playing in the background. It also will stop working whenever there is a jew update.


The only way i can get it to work again is going into services and restarting windows audio and windows audio build and restart the computer. It used to work the first time i did his but now i have to do this and repeat for up to 10 times till it works again.



I have tried different speakers and an external sound card. I have also tried all the steps online from most forums. The IT repairer told me that windows must be corrupted. Windows also wont let me refresh the computer as it comes up with an error.


I think it started 2 months ago, the sound didnt work after one windows update.

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

Can not record audio.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
