Windows 10: audio lag starts and worsens with time

Well.... not sure how to feel this time around.So as of lately, past week or so by now, I have been dealing with a audio issue I haven't dealt with before. It's quite interesting. The issue begins shortly after startup and login into my PC, I usually start music or a youtube playlist of random musical videos. Everything is fine for the first minute or two, then you notice it. the audio falls behind the video, however stuff like notification sounds, and testing audio buttons found in audio properties and elsewhere are in sync that I can tell, however video playback from a video on my PC playing

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Random lag spikes

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

audio always lag after a few minutes of playing a video.i used several players like vlc,kmp,potplayer etc (uninstalled/installed) none of them solve the problem

system updated

audio drivers are updated

troubleshooter cant find any problem

audio driver uninstalled/installed several time

audio service restart several time

tried different audio format such as cd,dvd etc

cable and my 3 mm jack are fine

still audio lagging after few minutes of playing a video. Is installing any other audio driver helps.name any compatible audio driveraudio fine for 5 or 10 min.then it slowing down than the video.
