    Audio levels changing

I'm probably in the wrong category, but I really couldn't find one that would fit the problem.

The sound levels of programs keep changing in the volume mixer.

I've tried disabling Dolby Audio sound leveler and putting the windows communications thingy to do nothing, but nothing seems to be working.

Could it be some program doing this or is does windows have some kind of feature that could be causing it.

For example this time all the programs were set to the volume level of 5, but after some time the windows sounds have been reduced to 0.

This happens randomly sometimes I can see it happening live in the mixer and sometimes when I restart my computer.

    :)

  3. Audio is not working at its most basic level

    Hi,

Please reply, did you check if the audio is set to minimum volume on the device?

Check if the volume on the device is set to minimum. If the volume bar is set to maximum and the issue still persists, follow the steps below to check if the audio is set to mute in the audio properties of the device driver.

    • Right click on the volume icon, located at the bottom right corner of the PC and select
Playback devices from the context menu.
    • Click on the device located in the window and click on Properties.
    • Click on Levels tab from the window and check if the volume icon is disabled.
    • If yes, click on the icon to enable the settings and check if the changes are effective.

Write to us with the status of audio not working on the PC for further assistance. Your reply is most important for us to ensure we assist you accordingly.
