Audio making random stutters after update.

Okay, I'm using Windows 10 Pro, currently version 20H2 (19042.985), my sound is coming from an Asus P7P55D-E LX. My current problem is when playing audio, sometimes there will be random audio hiccups, something akin to a heavy, scraping "brrp" noise. So, originally I delayed the feature update, I didn't want to update to 20H2, I was on whatever the version was before it, as I thought it might cause problems and I wasn't in the mood to troubleshoot them at the time (Irony, I know). The audio problem started after installing two windows updates that were released after 20H2 started being a mandatory install, so I installed these two, but not 20H2. KB5003169 and KB5003244. For whatever reason this started making my audio act up, I kinda panicked and tried uninstalling them, it let me uninstall one but not the other (I forget which one it let me, now I'm on 20H2, these updates aren't appearing in my update history anymore), this however did nothing, the audio problem was still there. At this point I figured it was because I installed something released after 20H2, but not 20H2 itself, so I changed the delay settings back to normal and installed it, but it's still there. I thought it might have been an issue with my VIA driver, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, upgraded it, nothing helped. So recently I threw in the towel and fully uninstalled VIA (well, I think I did, VIA HD Deck is still in my control panel, tho it does not load), and let windows install the generic HD audio drivers instead, but although it took a bit for me to notice/it to happen again, it's definitely still happening. This is driving me slightly crazy and I'm not sure where to go from here, I'd really rather not wipe the HDD and fresh install if I don't have to.

    :)

Latency issues are often related to drivers but can be due to other things.

If you search the forum for e.g.
    stutter
    Latencymon

starting with the most recent posts, you may find something to help. I strongly suggest you try that.

And maybe someone who helped with one of those may post here when there's a readable report.

No one here is really expert in this, just 2 or 3 have a bit more experience of it.
