  1. Audio malfunctioning, turns on and off

The audio randomly turns on and off when I'm not doing anything with the laptop. The light on the volume function key flickers off and on as the audio goes off and on. That function volume key usually doesn't work if I tap it.

The audio also responds to various keys, mostly 6, 7, 8 and T, Y and U. So if I have a youtube video playing on one tab, while I type something on another tab, the sound will go off and on as I hit those keys. Also sometimes when I'm typing the letters or numbers don't get entered because they seem to be triggering the audio instead.

Also, if I use the 6 and 7 keys, it causes the video to jump to certain spots.

The black volume bar in the left top hand corner appears randomly, when there isn't any audio. For example, after I turn the laptop on, before I've opened any programs, the volume bar will pop up and start appearing and disappearing.

I've tried checking for and installing updates, running troubleshooters for audio and keyboard, updating audio and keyboard drivers, reinstalling drivers, and switching from Realtec to generic audio. Nothing has helped.

    :)

    2. The issue can occur if the appropriate playback device is not selected. Click the
Sound icon (bottom right corner of the screen), click Playback device and select the appropriate device from the menu.
    3. Check the In-game audio settings to confirm if the sound is turned
      on.
    4. Check the Volume levels in the system's Volume Mixer to confirm that it is not turned
off and the levels are appropriate. Right click on the Sound icon and select
