Audio Mixer automatically changing devices after connecting a bluetooth soundbar

    Hello,

Whenever I connect myt Samsung T650 sound bar via bluetooth, the volume mixer decides it wants to automatically swap devices rapidly until sometime after I disconnect the sound bar, then everything goes back to normal. I am on a fresh install of windows 10 home and have the bare minimum installed in terms of programs. I've tried updating the drivers for the bluetooth, audio, and USB since the headset I use as well connect via bluetooth. The audio troubleshooter does not seem to help either.

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

    Audio on connected Bluetooth devices

I'm having a weird problem that I can't figure out and it's driving me nuts.

All that I'm attempting to do is to listen to the podcasts that I have on my Android smart phone through the speakers on my computer via Bluetooth. This worked in Win 8, but since upgrading to 10 I'm encountering a problem.

The computer will pair with the phone with no issues. It will also connect with the device via Bluetooth, no issues there either. But I can't make it pull the audio from the phone. When connected, the audio still plays through the phone, and not the computer.

I've poked around audio settings, and can't find anything. I installed drivers specific to the phone, that did not work. I also went to Dell's site and installed Bluetooth drivers that are specific to my computer. No change.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Set new audio device default for volume mixer in Windows 10

    I use two audio devices:

    • Default (audio) device "Realtec Digital Output (Optical)"
    • Default communication device "Lautsprecher (Speaker)"

    My goal:
I want to have the default audio volume on my default communication device, instead of the default device - at all times.

    What I tried so far:
Changing the volume mixer to my communication device explicitly works temporary, but as soon as I close the settings window, the default audio volume is reset again to the default audio device.

Step 1: Clicking on volume shows me the default device:

Step 2: Changing the volume mixer to my communication device manually:

Step 3: Clicking again on volume does not keep the change Audio Mixer automatically changing devices after connecting a bluetooth soundbar :(

How can I make it permanent that windows uses my communication device for default volume control?

    Bluetooth devices auto connect

I have paired my Windows 10 Laptop to a few devices and everytime I start my laptop up, the bluetooth automatically connects to the devices.

This is very useful for a bluetooth mouse, however I also have a soundbar connected to my TV which has bluetooth and the laptop automatically connects to the soundbar, switching the sound from the TV...... very annoying!

The problems is, there is no setting of stopping it auto connect to the soundbar, or any other paired device.

Apart from switching bluetooth off entirley, you can discount the device but at reboot it auto connects again!

    Can someone please help me?

    Thanks
