Windows 10: Audio no longer working after most recent update

Hello, I recently about a week ago installed a windows update which I had been putting off for a bit and found that after full installation my audio was no longer working. Not thinking much of it I left it a few days hoping some magical fix would come, but unfortunately this was not the case.I tried pretty much every step the internet told me to, including: - Uninstalling audio drivers- Disabling audio enhancements- Uninstalling/Removing my device- Checking every slider and the selected audio device- Probably a few other things I can't remember off the top of my headUnfortunately none of the

• What all troubleshooting steps have you performed to get the issue fixed?
• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?

I would suggest you to turn off Audio enhancements and then check if it helps.

• 
  Go to Start, enter Sound, and select Sound Control Panel
  from the list of results.
  
• 
  On the Playback tab, right-click (or tap and hold) the Default Device
  and select Properties.
  
• 
  On the Enhancements tab, select the Disable all enhancements
  check box and try to play your audio device.
  
• 
  If that doesn't work, select Cancel and, on the Playback
  tab, select another default device (if you have one), select the Disable all enhancements check box, and try to play audio again. Do this for each default device.
  

Please revert if you face any issues with Windows in future.

 

Chuzzle game no longer works after recent update

Microsoft recently made a large update to Windows 10. The next time I tried to play Chuzzle Deluxe, it no longer worked. Any suggestions to get it back would be appreciated.

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Let me know the results after performing the above.
